The Morganzo as a grassroots event isn't about making a profit or gaining fame but is instead about celebrating the joy of bicycling and the beauty of the Gallatin Valley. It takes time and money to host the website for the event, to send the announcements, to show up and wrangle the riders, and to keep the cooler full of cold drinks. Instead of charging a registration fee to riders to offset the costs, Directeur Sportif, Sam H. has chosen to cover them himself. In exchange for that generosity he asks riders to consider donating to his favorite non-profit, the Bozeman Bike Kitchen. An organization very close to him that he has been associated with since 2008 and of which he is currently the President of the Board of Directors.
